TERRA ROMANIA is proud to announce the successful delivery of the largest Sennebogen machine we have ever sold—the Sennebogen 885 SERIE G – ELECTRO—to the Port of Constanța this week. This sale marks a historic milestone, as it is also the biggest single-unit contract we have ever closed. The Sennebogen 885 SERIE G – ELECTRO is a massive piece of machinery, with a 38-meter reach, a total weight of approximately 320 tons, and an electric engine producing 500 kW of power. These specifications highlight the scale and capability of this remarkable crane, which is set to transform cargo handling operations at Romania’s busiest port. 

A Challenging but Successful Assembly Transporting this colossal machine was no small feat—it arrived in Constanța Port in 19 separate trucks. The assembly process was undertaken by our dedicated colleagues from Rent-All, in collaboration with our service engineers, all under the expert supervision of Sennebogen representatives. Despite harsh winter conditions and significant pressure due to limited mounting space and time constraints, the team executed the assembly with precision and efficiency.
